One more time at NEC Spring Fair Feb 2017. Trade shows are dying - Exhibiting today is all about converting, converting opportunities to potential sales. Exhibiting is not dead, but if we don’t start looking at what we are doing more strategically. Exhibiting at the major trade shows for last 15 years, we have learnt trade shows are increasingly seen as a dying marketing tactic.
However we continue to exhibit at the NEC show February 2017. Trade shows are a great opportunity to raise brand awareness by networking, showcasing new products, and getting up-to-speed on the latest trends. A good way to get physical product in front of potential customers. With recent technological developments, data collection has become a key component of the trade shows. Using scanners purchased as part of exhibitor packages, brands can easily and quickly gather information about the people they talk to at their stands – potential leads that they can pursue after the show ends.
